OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE BY A LEAD ACTOR IN A DIGITAL DRAMA SERIES

"First I want you to know how appreciated it is that you take the time to view your fellow artists work. Thank you for having the honor and care to do so.

What you’re going to see here is a storyline that hits home for me. And I truly put my heart and soul into the work.  I may have sacrificed a chunk of mental sanity in this, but it was in exchange for a more developed heart

I experienced a great degree of catharsis within the work here. The painful hope for my mom to remain alive and well.  It relates to the very struggles I faced in real life when I was losing my own mother to cancer.

We fought and held on, to never let go.  The inner turbulence became unbearable as the going got rougher.  I cracked, I fell.. then the only thing that can best be done is to get up again, keep the faith alive, keep going for her and never give up.

When we’ve gone through something that resembles what our character is experiencing, there comes a deep sense of gratification in locking into these feeling comes a deep sense of gratification in locking into these feelings; as off-kilter or painful as they can be, and just letting them have their way. It serves the viewer as well as our very own soul.

If we’re to embrace this craft with the honor it deserves, we realize a purpose in it is to allow us to understand pain in profound ways that we wouldn’t otherwise have had the chance to tap into, had we not gone through it ourselves. In many ways the craft of “acting” opens the doors to our heart, that we otherwise would have left shut and numb under the constructs and pressures of every day life.

Aside from the compassionate scene partners and team, the storyline in these latest episodes, as shadowy as it initially seemed, has been the greatest gift I could have asked for as an actor.

Thank you, again, for your care to watch my work. I do hope you can appreciate what you see. God bless you, and take care."

OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE BY A LEAD ACTRESS IN A DIGITAL DRAMA SERIES

"It’s my constant goal, as an actor, to highlight those broken pieces of us... those human pieces of us and create a connection with the viewer that shows them they’re not alone.

It was an honor to take on the issue of mental illness & lift the stigma around seeking treatment. Signs and symptoms aren’t always obvious (like for example with depression) but left untreated, over time, can have catastrophic consequences on their lives and the lives of those around them. It’s my hope, that those who watch & experience those emotions themselves, see seeking good mental hygiene as a normal thing that we all sometimes need...

When life feels bigger than us, like we’re swallowed up and buried by circumstances bigger than our ability to cope, it’s okay to lean on loved ones & seek professional help.
It sometimes really does take a village and it’s okay to look to your tribe when you need them.

In the turmoil surrounding the death of “Lianna’s” mother, she’s stopped taking her meds and accidentally shoots her fiancé, mistaking him for an intruder. Since then, she finds herself leaning on the support of her loved ones as she prepares to face trial."
